PINK! is the warmest color (performance), GAMeC, Bergamo

Performance has always been at the heart of the AdE organism. During the opening of TEN, Nicky Baxter and The Gamer occupied the Space 0 in GAMeC and brought to life the creatures from the Unknow Pleasures series, which were on display in the room near to the central hall. The audience, crammed into the room, experienced a shock wave of a physical and verbal tension, between disorientation and engagement, dismay and participation, astonishment and laughter.
The performance consisted in an improvisation inspired by the video work named PINK! is the warmest colour, which was presented in February at the solo exhibition FREAK YOU! at kaufmann repetto in New York.
